Question: my 5 day old won't stop crying because of gas and she strains to poop but nothing comes out. What can I do? Can I give her gas relief meds?

To get gas or not.. Should I get gas on the way home? My gas light turned on right when I got to work. I work downtown so I’m too scared to get gas down here ? I’ve never run out of gas before.
GIRL!!!!! You was right about this gas @proudmommyoftwo_ went to 3 gas stations nothing.. got lucky on the 4th it was crazy trying to get in there to get gas 🤦🏻 ♀ I needed the gas though lol

Or Metamucil. My 6 yr old was rushed to ER with possible appendicitis. After a contrast IMR they realized it was stool build up. So Metamucil was his answer. Even at CVS said it's used for even younger kids.

Most pediatricians or er wait until a baby doesn't poop for 3 days before they do anything...try a warm bath for her and put her legs in a bicycle motion each leg might help her poop..she's a newborn don't wait long to take her to er or dr

@sherrynygirl, I tried the bicycle motion and didn't work. We are going to try the warm bath tonight because that is when she gets so grouchy.

@beverlystory13 ...it should work i am a mom of 3 very dif ages...is she bottlefed...i switched my last son to dr Brown's bottles helps with gas.colic..reflex...has a mini filter in it..
