Ok mamas,
My 1 month old will not sleep. Most of the time she's moving her arms and legs around constantly. She'll make her little noises and kick around all day. She'll maybe fall asleep for 5 minutes every now and then and will have some random scream/cries like she has a bad gas bubble. Is this colic? Is she going through a growth spurt? I don't know what to do to help her and get her to sleep. I know my poor baby is tired!!

@lunacromero1993, I do at night. She does not like having her arms swaddled, so we swaddle her under her arms and below. I guess I should try that for her naps.
You don't swaddle your baby as for my kids I've swaddled every single one they will not sleep without it

Thats just how newborns are 😪 you can try skin to skin, a bath, taking her on a walk or drive or wearing her. Sometimes that "resets" them and they'll sleep 😆
@jacesterlingsmommy, she'll randomly cry/scream, but only for a few seconds. She wants to eat all the time like she's in a growth spurt, but will not sleep. When I can get to her to sleep, she only stays asleep for 5 minutes. So far, she does well at night! Last night she actually slept for 6 hours straight. I just don't know what I can do to help her when she gets these little attacks and get her to nap during the day.
My son had colic. Colic is unexplained crying for at least 3 hours straight for at least 3 weeks for several days a week. It's rough. Have you tried to swaddle her to help with her Moro reflex? That's what it sounds like to me. It could be a growth spurt too. Usually they'll sleep longer and eat more frequently though.
Try to keep a flexible schedule and take her outside in the day. It's so hard! My son hated napping but it's important for night time sleep
My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️
is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know

So my daughters cord was wrapped around her neck I just delivered her vaginally she was so beautiful rip my angel
So my baby is 8 weeks old and is thriving with weight gain each doctors visit. So here is my question: around 4-5 hours at night for sleep she wakes up every night and sucks on her thumb. (She finally this week likes it to soothe her during nap times) her eyes are still closed and she moves around and sucks it. I wake her to feed her. My question is should I just let it go? And see if she is just soothing herself to sleep? I don't want her to stave by morning if she sleep a couple of more hours...
