I was wondering my son will have my last name and will be born in The state of Arizona and i will be filing for custody. what happens if the father never comes to court?

So my daughters father is filing for full custody and I'm livid. At first he claimed he was just getting our visitation set in stone and now he's filing for full custody and I have to find an attorney. I'm already stressed as it is about to have a new baby and now this. What are my chances of winning full custody or losing it to him?
