I need some help...... Should I give my son his father last name or my last name ? Me and my son father is no longer…

Whatever u feel is right.. i always believed a child should have the fathers last name but thats just my openion

Girl if you want your baby to have your last name it don't matter! What I did was I informed my ex that I was using my last name an if he could prove that he was gonna step up an he a father I would change it. But I did put his last name as a part of her middle name. But he's never stepped up yet or even met her so it's still my last name! My sister gave her son her babys fathers last name and now shes going through the courts trying to change it and since her and her ex arent getting along it's being hard for her to get it changed so just make sure your happy with what you choose😊
