Okay so I feel like a terrible mom 😭😭 my in-laws came and got Addie yesterday for a few hours so I could rest and took her to a baseball game. They had her in her stroller the entire time with a cover over here and didn't have the sun on her at all, but I guess she got wind chapped :( she looks so pitiful and I feel so bad. I've put Vaseline on it 3 times already, does anyone have any suggestions of what I can do to make it go away?
@mcrowell0970, thank you Megan I almost cried 😂😭 my dad's old and is really overprotective of me so when he saw her face he started freaking out and was like omg you should've kept her at home, her skin's gonna be ruined. 😕
@nicolelh, @mcrowell0970, thank y'all so much. I'm gonna look for her some!! We're going to church so I'll look at iuka Walmart. Her first pedi appt is tomorrow so I'll probably get yelled at 😣
I second the Aquaphor - it's meant for this kind of thing. Hang in there mama! If it doesn't improve, take her in just in case to the pediatrician since she's so young. But the Aquaphor is gentle and really does work well, so I bet you'll see improvement in a day or so. It's in the same section as diaper creams like Desitin @annaerandolph,
@embracemthrhd2, @ash4267, thank y'all so much, it makes me wanna cry looking at her!! @mcrowell0970, thank you SO much. Is that in the baby section at Walmart or just the lotion?? I know there's different types and I don't wanna get the wrong kind. She has her newborn pictures Tuesday so I hope I can get it to go away by then 😭
Coconut oil would be my go to since it's a natural product and good for babies skin anyways. I hope something helps her soon!
@annaerandolph, hang in there! It will be ok.
