Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?
School fees Having an intense debate on Facebook about school fees for public school. I'm in the "stop whining about school fees and stop having kids if you can't afford them" camp and there is the other camp of "free school is a constitutional right! It's bull s*** we have to pay anything at all".
Ok I'm 15 And Pregnant And I Don't Know What To Do. I'm Just A Freshman In High School.
I did this in high school 😂 It’s a real life lesson especially when I had to bring the baby with me to school

@nimonmom3 yeah, don't feel like the only one, you are most certainly not. Lol mine was and sometimes still is like that. They understand what no means, but they do not understand why we say no. To them it makes no sense. But slowly theu will begin to understand. It gets better with time love.

Thank goodness. I never knew how much worse the threes would be lol seriously miss them being two! Idk why they can be so dern mean at times. They just hate not getting what they want. I'm trying to simplify everything tho. They watch too much tv and have too many toys that they don't play with. Trying to get them back in a good schedule hoping this will help their behaviour some.

@nimonmom3 is like that until they get a little older. My 5 year old still tries to say no very often. Many times a day but he doesn't get away with it lol

I think we're gonna homeschool our boys. We might put them i n head start until 5 and Then homeschool. The only thing I'm worried about is how they act right now. They are very whiney, don't listen and don't like to be told no :( I'm hoping its just those trying threes they're going through.

@wladouceur20 oh ok thats good

Mommy groups are great for that kind of exposure. I worried about my little one for that reason but he's doing well

@wladouceur20 yeah its great my real only concern was socializing. Because my son is the only child in my entire family. Everyone he knows other than my 3 month old is an adult. So whenever we come across children his age he doesn't act right. Unlike other children that either go to school, daycare, or have cousins or siblings their age and know how to be around other kids.

I meant to say not serve them** lol but I'm glad you've made that decision. It's what's best for some and not for others. It just is better for my family.

@wladouceur20 thanks for the imput. I have weighted the pros and cons with my husband, and i am leaning towards home school.

I was a teacher and now a stay at home mom, I will be homeschooling because I want to be able to teach my kids based on what they should know, not geared towards an exam that will serve them positively in the long run.
