Since when did Easter become about giving a shit ton of presents? That's all I'm seeing people post on Facebook. Pretty sure I got one or two little things of candy when I was young.. now it seems like a second Christmas. 🙄 #notformykids

@alejandra519, an Easter basket is fine! I'm talking like the people that buy bikes and 10 outfits and 4 Easter baskets for one kid lol.

@anmlopez, lol exactly!! My kids got one outfit from their grandma each, when they get older I'll get them a small basket of candy, but that's it! It should be about spending time with family. Not the presents.

You can ask the same question for Christmas. Neither is about giving presents. People celebrate differently. It is just for fun I guess.

I agree. I'll get things that will educational for my baby and later on books about the real meaning of Easter but I'm seeing these parents buy bikes, basketball nets, etc I'm like I was excited for my jelly beans and a VHS when I was little lol

I get suckered into getting the little ones an easter basket lol but my oldest he doesn't get one, he will get a chocolate bunny thats about it.
