My left breast is in so much pain... Idk what it is.. But every time my son latches it feels like glass is shooting…

I if your baby is teething and he has bitten you before it's probably just that my son is 6 months and has about 8 teeth 2 not fully grown.

So every time I nurse him it hurts a lot.

He had 2 teeth cutting through.. But I don't remember him biting me.. @bugs039

Also if it's the breast. And not the nipple it could be engorgement or a breast infection I had that when my son was around 2 months . That hurts worse you should definitely have a doctors appointment.

You may have thrush or a clogged duct

Agree with thrush or clogged duct try warm compress and putting AC vinegar around nipple after feeding... also with thrush I drink some ACV in water to kill from inside out.

@bugs039 @kambam @brittdo1. Thank you ladies.. I had convinced myself it was thrush for the last 2 days.. But last night I noticed a tiny cut on the side of my nipple... Been putting a&d after nursing in that breast and is feeling a bit better.. Hope it was just a cut and not thrush.. 😥

Ouch! a&d isn't very compatible with nursing. If youre still injured or next time, rinse in warm salt water then apply lanolin or a nipple cream

@kambam I was wondering if it was okay.. I do rinse before he's back in that breast but still wasn't sure.. I have nipple butter around here somewhere.. I'll have to look for it

Ok, yeah its a better option! Or just plain coconut oil or even olive

@kambam I was using coconut oil at 1st.. But the a&d was so much closer lol.
