My son is 11 months old and hasn't started speaking yet. Is this normal? He babbles a lot and can say mama but that's it

@ecahanes, same boat... We have a toddler boy who is very intuitive and surprises us with his cognitive skills but does not speak yet... patiently waiting.

All kids do develop at different times. Definitely chat with his pediatrician if you're really concerned.

Yes my son is almost two and it just speaking two or more words together. Personally I think it's a boy thing. Girls talk sooner cuz well we talk a lot 😂😂 boys are more into climbing and exploring

I think it's ok. All kids develop at there own pace. I think at that age only a few words is what they say anyway, like mama, dada, baba..
