He's been deployed many times before, and it was awful. But now we have a daughter. Even though she won't remember this, it makes me nauseous knowing how sad he will be to miss milestones... and just to see how she changes every single day.
I've been in denial, but he leaves in a few days. ☹️
Up until my grandpa died he still had effects from being in the military he was in Korea and we were always told not to wake him the effects of military is life long
I think he has a few more months yeah people don't give military families enough credit
@noirdiva83, thanks so much!! He appreciates your words, as well. We will make it through. 💗
@mommysbabies, how sad for your friend and her husband! I hope he gets to meet the baby soon. Also, what a fantastic idea for the photos! Thank you!
@carrsonsmommy, thank you! I know she will remember one or two in future years, but I hope that it will just strengthen their bond. As you know, it's a rough life.
I'm so sorry, thank you to him for his services and thank you to you for being the strong women standing behind him. Your daughter is beautiful, she'll be so proud of her dad. Take his absence one day at a time, I'm wishing you peace and extending you hope. Sending good vibes your way.
When he leaves do a photo a day of her and at the end of the month put it all together and send it to him my friend is currently deployed and his wife gave birth to their son a few months ago and he has yet to meet him hopefully it goes by fast he left halfway through her pregnancy and is still out I couldn't imagine that you're a very strong person you got this
My dad was deployed twice. Both times I was old enough to remember. He missed a bunch of my life that I know he wishes he could of been too. College graduation, proms, games. It is really hard but that moment you get to see them when they come home is the best feeling ever. Good luck to you, you will do great!
@amycrow, it is a rough life! I'm a daddy's girl probably because of it and cherish every moment she has with them.
