Any homeschooling moms? I want to homeschool my kids. I work full time at home as well any tips

I home school. I feel like it doesn't take much time for us but mine is in kindergarten. And I have a 6 month old and help my husband with his job. It's totally doable. But there are some days I want to rip my head off. And I still wait for the weekend. Just like regular school.

@dreamie702, You get 2 15 min breaks and one 30 for lunch on an eight hour shift. My schedule just changed now I work 10 hour split shift with hour lunch and 3 15 min breaks. I would hold my baby while working lol and put her to sleep and have a activity mat right by my desk with toys and food all the necessary stuff.

@ccostict1989, yes. It's just not like regular school. You can tell them to sit down and go school work since it's only a handful of kids. It's more project or activity based and the older kids can help teach the younger ones. We go lots of field trips too. Our kids select what they want to learn and you'll find they will end up asking you to learn about all sorts of subjects. At first you'll see that your kids will need to unschool at first. Lots of kids have been stressed by school and need time to just relax and realize they love learning again. Good luck with it all!

@dreamie702, lol my son use to cry like that lol you should look into Apple work from home they have where you don't have to talk on the phone you can do chat my brother in law friend does the chat for Apple

@charong, I feel mine would be happier as well. I asked them what did they think about the idea and they all want to try. I teach my two year old at home even though she is not of school age. She is learning more I even have her doing some kindergarten activities.

@ccostict1989, we pulled our oldest out of his school a few years ago and never looked back! He's so much happier and he's very independent

@dreamie702, no problem I started when my 2year old was 1 she didn't understand lol it was more that she wanted mommy time all day lol

Exactly! If you are flexible it's fine. We try to teach first thing. It's completely different than regular school. Much more individual. Are your kids in public school now

We homeschool. It's not always easy but it's rewarding
