My biggest fear as a new mom is SIDS, idek why but I do know every since I had my son almost 9 months ago I been always super cautious. My husband hates how afraid I am. I hate it too but it's something I can't shake. I love my son so much 😩any other mommy have this fear?

See I'm the opposite.. my son was crib trained since the day we brought him home. I was always leery and worried with co-sleeping of rolling on top of him or him getting smothered with blankets and pillows. Now since his 6 month regression, he's been in the bed with me and that's the only way he will fall back asleep. He will start in his crib and then wake up crying until I put him in bed with me. It's weird but he's been fine and sleeps good and now I'm not so worried
I fear it to an extent but my hubby is the one who overreacts. I'm over here like, our son is old enough to sleep on his stomach and knows how to pick his head up side to side.. and my hubbys like I'd rather wait until he does it on his own. Ummmm what's the difference if I lay him like that or if he does it on his own. Lol! It's ok to feel that way cuz SIDS can happen so I wouldn't just shrug it off. I still get somewhat paranoid and my son will be 9 months tomorrow. But also remember, don't stress and babies will learn to roll and sleep in ways that might be frightening but just know they will be ok if they are at an age where they can be somewhat independent 😁
Omg yes girl my husbands grandma got my son a crib that cost over $200 and he hasn't slept in it yet. He has this rock and play he sleeps in since he was born and he sleeps in the room with me and my husband. I'm just still always scared. My husband gets mad that we haven't had him sleep in his crib yet
It is super scary! But the chance drops to only 10% after 6 months of age.
Yea that's true, I have been a lot better. When he was born I was horrible, I barely slept because I had to make sure he was okay. It was so bad I ended up needing to be admitted into the hospital (regular hospital) (plus I had an infection after my csection) but now I think about it but not
To worried as much since he is almost 1
Yea I've never co sleeper, he sleeps in his beside bassinet next to our bed. Idek I am just so scared to put him in his crib right now 😩 even thou I was told it's 10% chance now that he is over 6m
