Idk what to do. I've just been having my son sleep in a onesie and swaddling around his legs bc his feet and hands are always freezing but his body is soo warm. Just swaddling him with nothing on, he sweats, just the onesie his hands and feet get too cold, swaddling his legs, he still sweats. How do I dress him at night? If I put socks and gloves on him he just takes them off so there no point in that.

I'd try getting a lighter fabric to swaddle him with, like muslin?

@aliceliayers he hates it tho, he likes to be able to move his arms. He'll cry until he can.

@megannw, my first was the same way, I don't know if this will work for you but... most of the time I slept in a big comfy chair, and rested him between my boobs, so with his legs wrapped and my body heat he kept warm 😂

My daughters pediatrician told us that the hands and feet tend to be colder than the rest of her body and that it's normal. It has something to do with their circulation system being immature. When she was an infant we always put my daughter in a long footed pajama at night and she was a very sweaty baby and we never had problems with her being too hot.

@chelc_marie well I decided to swaddle him the other night to see how that went and after probably the 2nd time he woke up, he had a heat rash on his chest.
