Hello Ladies
I am new here. Was wondering if anybody had any advice for 6 year old wetting the bed.
@ccostict1989 like i said asleep and all i would walk them to the bathroom several times...for awhile.and when they had no accidents reward them at end if week..👌and ps boys are lazy he might do better with regular boxers that those goodnights. That should wake him up just an idea
@sherrynygirl, yes that's what we are trying I also buy him the goodnights he doesn't like them though
@ccostict1989 glad you told me now I can plan for it but not yet cause he's only 1but that's good to know thanks I just hope he gets it right hun
@ccostict1989 .As a mom of 3 boys 2 are way older now..i always walked them to the bathroom in the middle of the night...def helps yes even if they are asleep walk them to the bathroom
@jerryjrmommy, yes I read that with boys bed wetting does go longer and he is the only boy none of my girls wet the bed
@ccostict1989 and that could be the problem he's a heavy sleeper and yeah I would forget to get up especially if it's warm mom don't worry a lot of children do that it's common
He does sleep very heavy I literally have to pick him up and try to wake him
A lot of water are anything liquid before bed will have him going,, and if he's a sound sleeper he wouldn't know so it's best to make him go before he lay down and wake him in the middle of sleep to go children tend to forget
No soda he drink juice or water and I cut drinks off around 6pm and he goes to sleep at 8
My nephew wet the bed and they found he had sleep apnea and was going into such a deep sleep he couldn't wake up when he had to go. U could ask your Dr if they could do a sleep study
@sherrynygirl, sounds like a plan
