Okay mom's, I want your opinions on daycare. I want to start working at one and possibly sending my son there to, good bad? I'm really scared of that thought... I dont trust anyone around him without me😶
a good friend of mine works at a day care and constantly is getting sick. the kids have gotten hands foot and mouth outbreaks several times in one month, fifth disease, chicken pox, scarlet fever. you name it. but she enjoys it besides the ailments that go around. it's hard watching kids be sick like that and bleaching constantly. that's the only con id say.
I did it for awhile and it worked.. I also didn't trust anyone around my twins. I ended up leaving the daycare and taking my kids out but it was cool being there with them and knowing they were good.
@p0790 I've been a stay at home for an babysitter for a year now 😥 & making 50$ a week isn't cutting it anymore. I'd love to stay home but I can't 😿😿😿😿
I mean, it really just depends on the specific daycare. I worked at one and my older daughter went there at the same time. I hated it and quit after a few months because the director was two-faced with the parents and teachers, and there were no doors on the classrooms, so safety was a major issue. But I've also seen daycares that have security systems, video cameras for parents to check in during the day, doors on every room, and loving and attentive teachers. So it really does just depend on the daycare facility.
I tried to go back to working but I realized no one would take care of my daughter like I would, if you can afford to stay at home do it, I know plenty of moms that send their kids to daycare and their kids are very used to it, I'd say so your research before making a final decision on one
I cant say i recommend it. I had extreme anxiety about going to work because i didnt trust my daughter with anyone. Thankfully her grandma watches her for me and she LOOVES her grandma. I would say try to find someone you know and trust first?
