I started planning my sons at 6 months. It gave time to get stuff slowly and not have to stress closer to time.

I started when she was 10 months and it was overwhelming cause mine was way to mobile and was always getting on the way so it made things harder to do 🙄 so I think you should start when he's 7-8 months that way you have enough time to decide what exactly you want and take your time while doing it ☺️
