So .. this is my second pregnancy . But my son who is 6 is adopted, openly,by some family friends who can't conceive (I was 15). Now that I am expecting again I am worried my son will feel like he is less worthy or unimportant, because I chose to let someone one else be his mother. Should I even be thinking like this now? Or worry about it when he's older? I just don't want him to be sad or hate me for it ☹️

The fact that you're thinking about it means you will make this all come together ok. As your older son grows, he will understand that you were very young when you had him and you made a decision with his best interest at heart. If you keep him connected to your life as you always have, I think you're ok. Include him. Listen to him, and talk to his mom and dad so you can all watch for any changes in his behavior or needs during this time. The fact that you want to be mindful of his emotional needs is a good thing. You are a good mom.

Yeah.. It's just hard to stay in touch sometimes because we do live separate lives
Especially now since I am trying to get things ready for the new baby
I guess that's why I'm glad he is still really young. I might not have to worry about it just yet

I think as long as you include him and show him the same type of love and affection youll show the new baby there shouldnt be anyjealousy or problems once hes older you can explain to him why you chose adoption for him that way he has an understanding but as long as your there throughout his life i think he will be fine
