Hello! I am new on here, I am 34 weeks and have a scheduled c section May 15th. I am so terrified! I'm not even scared of the actual surgery, I don't like medications or how they make me feel so I'm really nervous about how my body will react to the spinal and pain meds. I can't really avoid medication in this situation. Any feedback or personal experience you could share so I know what to expect? I had a c section 10 years ago but I don't even remember how it made me feel.. Thanks!

The meds made me feel soooo much better so it didn't bother me to have to take them. And I'm generally someone who stays away from taking pills!

@susancarder, Thank you for your comment! I suffer from anxiety so as soon as I start feeling "different" I panic. I just don't want to be freaking out on the table and can't move.

I'll be honest, I did, and they completely knocked me out once that happened.

@susancarder, Yea I had a bad experience with general anesthesia and that's what started this whole mess. I'm hoping once everything starts to happen I can focus all my attention on my baby and forget about worrying about myself! I guess we'll see!
