Hello Moms does anyone know of a natural remedy for pink eye?

@fasciamom, thank you. My niece has is tho, not my daughter. Is just don't want my daughter getting it because my mom babysits for me and babysat for her last night. I told her to wash her hands a lot.

Both forms of pink eye are extremely contagious, but easily fixed. I would give it a day or 2, if it doesn't show up by then she probably won't get it.

But your mom should be washing everything your daughter touched and her hands frequently. Pink eye normally isn't serious but there is a severe case that is called epidemic keratoconjunctivitis (ekc) that should always be in the back of the mind when it comes to pink eye. I usually tell people to pretend it's that severe so they make sure they don't spread it to anyone else @morganmommy79

@fasciamom, if my mom is babysitting for me every day and then babysits my 8 year old niece today (when she left here) who went to the ER with crusty pink eyes this morning what's the chance of Mom passing it to my daughter? She's on meds as of today.

I work for an eye surgeon. If it's bacterial, the kind with the pus and crusty lashes, you need to get antibiotics. Viral pink eye usually goes see on its own within a week

@desirechild, I wish I still had breast milk but he is seven and the milk stopped coming when he was 9mo
