I've never been pregnant (the 9yr in my profile is my dog 😂) but I've always had problems with my period, ever since I first got it. There was a time in my life where I wasn't on birth control and had unprotected sex (a few different times, before I was married) and I never got pregnant. That was two years ago and my periods are regular now due to this birth control I'm taking. Is there anyone who's gone through a similar stance? And advice on how to conceive? I'm nervous to get off it and not have any results...

What BC are you on? Birth control kind of puts your body on pause and then when you get off you are suppose to be super fertile. I was on nexplanon for three years and it expired in mid Jan, i got pregnant in february. 🙂
Get off of it and see how things go for 6 months and if nothing works just tell your doctor you have been trying for a year and they should help you out.
I was irregular too then I went being regular for about 3 years, I got on birth control and quit after a month due to my reaction to hormones thinking nothing would happen, It messed up my period again, that was in April I had unprotected sex since then and on August I found out I was 3 weeks pregnant !
I gotta question could I be pregnant and have 2 1/2 day period because I think i got pregnant on Nov 26 and had implantation bleeding on Dec 11 because I'm usually on my period for at least 4 days but mostly 5 or 6 which my full period was Nov 11 for 5 days ?? but in dec only 2 1/2 days it's kinda confusing really im excited about my Dr visit feb19 to know for sure :)

I don't trust the nexplanon implant birth control thingy no more. Never thought my period would last for so long! But at the same time I don't want to get pregnant so soon either.
What other "Type of Birth Control" Do you recommend??

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
Also my periods where irregular . Due to BC , but you can still get pregnant on an irregular period . Use Ovia Fertility App, thats what i used . And based on the info you put in daily it calculates the days you should be fertile and then its time to get to baby dancing 💃🏾
