MY first kid grew up without a dad and I had her very young so now she calls my brothers dad cuz it's the only other man she's seen. Now she's somewhat learning the difference I hope to find someone who will treat me and my kids right some day. You never know what will happen. I got divorced when my son was 2. And the relationship im in now my son calls him dad and he chose to do that on his own... it was kinda funny cause at first he did it on accident and caught himself. now he just say it everyday lol. his bio dad hasnt called in almost a yr. My son is 10 now

Sometimes it's for the best. My SO would have been better off without a Dad. I probably would have too. Who knows you may meet someone who takes on that role and does an amazing job at it.
