I don't know what to do. For the last week or so, Isabelle has been great all day and goes down for her naps with hardly a peep. But then once 7pm or so comes around, she refuses to sleep. She just screams and screams. I'm losing my mind. I don't know what to do or why it's happening. It's just recently....david and I are both just miserable. Nothing works to soothe her or put her to sleep..we either have her in the living room and crying, trying to get her to play, or she's in her room and crying, refusing to sleep. And it's only at night! I don't understand 😩😩

She may be overtired. I would try putting her down a bit earlier

@scurlock.mommy yes that's strange, could you rock her to sleep and then put her in her bed. You can also try white noise, I used to use the app I use for my meditation for my daughter, I just downloaded it on an old phone and set it on the "Rain" one. The app is called Calm and it's free to utilize that feature.

Have you mentioned this to her Pediatrician? My son did this until he was 14 months old. He never slept through the night until that day we brought him back from the hospital after getting tubes in his ears (chronic ear infections). It was a miracle.

Also, take lavender oil diluted with coconut oil and rub this on the bottoms of her feet. You can also diffuse this in her room. My son has Autism and I swear my some of these oils.

Try a nice warm lavender bath use a soothing voice when speaking and massage her with lotion when she gets out . Then feed her right before bed . Good luck

Hmmm @scurlock.mommy my son does that also where he dont wanna go to bed. Sometimes it takes a while. But his tummy has been upset. Could try rubbing her tummy and holding her and bouncing her

@littleonesmommy98 most definitely lol. She eats 4 7oz bottles a day as well as either fruit or baby food for lunch. She's not gassy or anything, either.

@noirdiva83 we keep it as routine as possible. Nothing's really changed, she just doesn't want to go to bed anymore after it hits a certain time. And I know she's tired, because she'll rub her eyes, yawn, scratch her head, etc. When she just barely starts getting tired, below her eyes right above her cheekbones starts to sink in a bit, and that's when we start getting ready for naptime/bedtime. Naps are no issue, but now for whatever reason bedtime is a HUGE problem.

@littleonesmommy98 she sleeps anywhere from 10-12hrs at night, it's just putting her to bed that's the problem. 😕😕 She only takes two naps a day. One about an hour after she wakes up, and another at about 2 or 3pm and both are about 90 minutes.

Do you have a night routine for her? Are the elements of her surroundings the same at nap time as they are at bedtime? Our little ones are habit driven and any small difference could make them uncomfortable..

I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!

Will your Mom be in the delivery room?

Will your Mom be in the delivery room? My mom made it sound like she was gonna be in the delivery room when I give birth, and quite frankly, I would just like it to be me and my fiancé. It's our first, and I want to share that special moment with just him. I don't want to hurt her feelings, and I know this is something she would really like to be a part of. So I feel bad telling her no.

I don't care what ppl think of me, but I'm seriously considering putting my baby up for adoption. I love her with all of heart, but doing this alone is hard. Every single night she just screams to the top of her lungs and I do everything to soothe her. I don't know what to do at all. I wish I had some kind of help. I don't have a single ounce of help. I don't know a single soul in Minnesota either.
