Any mom's skip the bassinet and just do the crib from the start? With my first two, I never used a bassinet. It was crib from day one. I bought a bassinet this time around, but now I'm thinking of not using it. Seeing post from other moms trying to get their babies to sleep in the crib has me thinking I should start with crib so I don't have to go through all the fuss.

I used a bassinet with my oldest 3. This time around o got one of those Rock-n-Play sleepers, it was awesome and super convienent! But I think it messed up his head! He was referred to a plastic surgeon a few months back with flat head syndrome...I blame the Rock and play! Because, they can't wiggle and move much. It's like almost letting them sleep in a car seat. Which I was told NEVER to do because it'll make their heads flat. Shew! Sorry about the novel!

Also, i transitioned him to his crib while I was still swaddling so he still felt secure, I've never had any issues. He took it like a champ ;)

I think I'm going to keep with tradition, and start out with the crib. I'll use the bassinet for downstairs till he is bigger and then switch to pack and play @mc.squared @beebaby

I used a pack n play but id like a crib because my babys weight n height surpasses the requirements of these items soo fast his dads 6ft 200+ lbs so it didn't last to long for mines same for his carseat i was upset😊☺️🤦🏼♀️🤷🏽♀️

I skipped the bassinet, my daughter hated the rock and play so I co slept for 6 weeks then moved her into her room
