Anyone drink shakes with Protein powder? I'm not sure what kinds are approved and what kinds aren't?

So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

Just read the labels carefully! Some have artificial ingredients that may be best to avoid during pregnancy. Personally I like the Aloha brand protein -- it's completely vegan and there's nothing artificial in it. It's a bit pricey and I've only ever seen it at target but it lasts forever. Whey protein is good too but like I said, just read the ingredients. 🙂 Also don't buy the shakeology drinks if someone tries to sell you them. There's an ingredient in them that's been proven to cause preterm birth. Also, don't go overboard on protein! Once a day or so is fine if you're eating other protein-rich foods. 2 a day should be fine if you have a deficiency. Too much can overload the liver and kidneys bc the body has no use for it.
