How long should I let my 5month old cry? Lately he has been horrible with napping, no, I don't spoil him, but he just will not take a nap no matter whether I'm holding him or lay him down or anything I try. So I put him in the crib and he's crying and screaming. He's been fighting his sleep lately except at night so I don't get it, I can tell he's tired . 😞

My son is the same age and has been doing the exact same thing recently, even at night. Maybe a car ride? He has a much easier time falling asleep and staying asleeo when swaddled, i usually do this unstead of loading him in the car. Youll get through it momma!
@hannibelle, he just ate, he's burped, just changed his diaper. He's just tired. He's running his eyes and you can see it in his face that he's sleepy. He just has been extremely difficult to get down for a nap

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. Try white noise, soft classical music, or maybe letting him nap on the floor(blankets laid down), etc.
If you know there is absolutely nothing wrong with him, it does not hurt your kid for them to cry for two minutes or so as they fall asleep. As moms, we cannot carry our children around literally 24/7. I'm not saying to let him cry for hours, but 2 or 3 minutes isn't going to harm him in any way. Rub his back, let him know you're there, comfort him, and lay him down. Maybe sing or read to him.
