How do you moms get anything done around the house??? My baby only wants to be held. If I put her in the walker: she cries, if I put her in her swing: she cries, if I put her on the floor with toys: she cries, if I put her in her high chair: She cries. But as soon as I carry her she's all smiles and giggles. Help me :( I don't know what to do. Btw she takes very short naps :(
My 3 year old was the same way and I put her in the carrier and walked with her all day. She grew out of it but I didn't mind because I loved it. When I cooked I just wore her on my back or cooked when daddy came home.
No. I use to think that way too but my daughter still loves me lol if i gotta do something and i know she ate already and shes good ill leave her in the crib too she just has to wait til im done with what i gotta do. When i shower i do the same. Cause once she started crawling she gets into everything! Lol she'll whine but she gets over it
@odalys lol yea I need to start doing that. I Just feel like she'll hate me If I let her cry :(
Same with me my mom and his dad always carry her 24/7 they got her used to being rocked to sleep. My belly is too big for that so when nothing works for me i just leave her in the crib she'll cry for awhile, no tears. Then play in her crib then knock out lol
That sounds like separation anxiety. You gotta be careful when dealing with that or it could make it worse. Pretty much just don't make her stay in a different room from you where she can't see you while you're working through it.
My second was a big fuss every time I tried to clean or cook or anything. Even wearing him didn't work. I started putting him in his high chair and just sitting him in the room I was working in. I gave him toys and snacks. He'd cry, but he'd be right there with me and I could talk to him the whole time and reassure him that he was just fine. Eventually he caught on and realized the high chair was boring, and he'd have a much better time if he just played on the floor with his other toys.
It's just a matter of grinning and bearing it until she figures it out. It's not forever. 😊
Baby wearing, or do your stuff whenever she naps or whenever she goes to sleep for the night
@odalys yea her grandparents always carry her when she sleeps over -_-
Let her cry a bit. Sometimes you won't always be able to hold her. You have things that need done and she eventually catch on and go play.
Someone got her used to being carried, thats why she cries. Once you know its time for her nap, put her where ever u want, swing, bouncer, or crib you have to just let her cry to get used to it. When my daughter gets fussy like that and nothing works but my arms i put her in the crib and do what i have to do wether she cries or not, plus im preg. And cant be rocking her anymore. You'll feel bad but you'll get over it as soon as you see it works
I only get things done when my baby naps nd most of the time I don't get much done
Mine has sorta began doing that. I carry him, if I really need to get something done. But it's hard to cook carrying a baby :/
Baby won't bear weight on leg
I have a walking 10 month old and she has been extra fussy yesterday and today. Today I noticed she didn't really want to crawl, she would just cry until I came and picked her up. After I fed her, I tried setting her down to play with her big sister and she just started crying and wouldn't put any weight on her left leg. She will put weight down on her right leg but then just cries until you pick her back up. I thought maybe she just didn't want to be put down (as ...
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
What can I do to not have my daughter cry everytime I put her down to either change her(she only sometimes does it when I change her) or I want to go do something else she just cries until she is picked up. So what can I do?

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know
the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
Dad's FB Video!!
Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!
My 1 year old was the same way, I put on some nursery rhymes for her and she's gotten used to it and doesn't fuss as much
