IN NEED IS SERIOUS HELP!!! My milk production is drying up, what else can I do to increase the production of milk. I just pumped and from.both breasts I was inky able to get .5 oz. I don't know what else to do. I don't want to put my baby on formula.

Latching baby gives you the best supply. Nurse as much as possible every when with baby. Power pump when you have time, try a manual pump, hand expression, pump one side while baby nurses the other, or try some herbs for production. I sucked at pumping also. Got like half ounce from each breast

I figured it out ladies. After much investigation. I spoke with a woman who is a doula/lactation spec/midwife. My milk is not coming out when I pump (mostly at work) because that isn't the time my baby usually demands it in the morning and at night. Thus, baby is getting all the milk she needs during those times and not any other times during the day

You can also do a session of power pumping which is you pump 5min on, 5min off for a total of 30 min. Try that in the morning when your hormones are highest. Also cover your chest with a blanket while you pump. This will reduce your stress and get your mind off of how much is coming out. Best of luck.
