My son is giving me an extra hard time tonight going to sleep in his crib. I've let him cry it out twice for 15 minutes each. time And nothing he won't go to sleep. He'll be sleeping with me I put him in his crib and boom he's awake... This shit is stressful. 😣
I know I say the same thing but at 2 months I really enforced his crib and he didn't do that bad he made slow progress up until 5 months when he went through a sleep regression and then after that he never really got back on track and he's been horrible lately. I just have to keep forcing it. If he cries he cries, it's the only thing that works. He ended up sleeping in there for like 5 hours last night after 3 attempts to get him down. he woke up a few times but he went right back to sleep on his own.@bluepenguin
@missjess oh yeah, I know it's hard, gosh I should've just been stronger and pushed myself to keep him in the crib more as a newborn, I breastfed then and would be falling asleep trying to feed him at night...And I thought it'd be easier to just bring him into the bed and feed. Then here I am now. But finally I got him to sleep. Like he'd be in between our bed and the crib then all of a sudden , nope, no crib. He actually used to fall asleep in our bed then go sleep in the crib, now he won't even sleep in the crib.
Aw it took me 3 tries tonight and he finally fell asleep in there hopefully it's for awhile. I live with my parents too but thankfully they let me let him cry. Usually I don't to much during the night but sometimes I do. They don't always hear him luckily. It's hard. @bluepenguin,
@missjess the other day I actually had energy to try and give him nap time in the crib even. But he won't stay for more than an hour and I very well know this kid can sleep more than an hour for nap time. Right now he is just having a fit and won't sleep regardless of anything, I think it's his tooth that just cut...But I live with my parents and I'd like to let my son cry just to get him to stay in the crib, but they don't like listening to the crying, so I just don't even know what to do
Ugh I hope so. I really need to start enforcing his crib during nap time too. That's a whole other war 😶@dextersmama,
I know. It's tough!! I'm going through it all over again currently. It took me over an hour of him crying earlier for just one nap. It's torture. But if you stick with it and don't give into him, it'll get better!! Even if it doesn't feel like it.
I hope so! I'm
About to for the 3rd time put him down. I hope he just sleeps.. I know he's tired and definitely tired from having a fit crying.@dextersmama, I feel bad making him cry 😕
I feel you! I get tired too, but I just want him to learn that is where he needs to sleep and sleep for periods of time... We were doing good then after 5 months shit just went down hill and the past two weeks have been horrible. He'll sleep fine next to me though 😔@bluepenguin,
I feel you. For us, it's not going well, and half the time we are so exhausted it's hard to keep trying. But I'd really love for my son to sleep in his crib *sigh*
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
My son is one year old and i want him to go back and get use to sleeping in the crib I put him in the crib and all he does is cry and I spoke to his doctor and his doctor said let him cry like in 2 or 3 days he should get use to sleeping on his own has anyone try it ?
So my ex went to court and filed for visitation rights. I was served last week. I am not comfortable with our daughter being around him alone nor his mother which he lives with. I have proof of him asking me to take his drug test for his job for him in text messages and him texting me he was too high to drive and get our daughter milk. Is that enough to show the judge? As far as his mother she watches his son quite often and told us she gives him nighttime medicine if she has problems getting hi...

What if we woke up to him like this?! 😅😂
Do you ladies think it might be time to transition him into his crib? Any tips on how to do such a difficult challenge with an almost 4 month old baby who likes to be held? 🤔
TIA!💞🙃
@missjess yay progress!!
