@mrsmccormick thank you. My son got in a funny position during labor. He was born healthy though & naturally. @dmgraham06 thank you. Yes I think we'll have to get the helmet because his case is moderate to severe. Did you use doc band?
My son had torticollis and plagiocephaly. He did not have a cephelohematoma. We did the physical therapy for the torticollis and a helmet for his flat spot. The physical therapy I don't feel did us any good. Cost us a ton of money and I don't feel like it helped. He changed so much on his own just with growing and hitting milestones. Don't take my word for it though. I have heard many physical therapy success stories. Each child's case is totally different.
I am so happy that we chose to get my son a helmet. It was expensive also but so worth it! My baby boys head is perfect!
Just curious what you ending up doing about it. Right now our pediatrician is talking about physical therapy and possibly a helmet. How severe was your child's flat spot? And did your child get the torticollis because of the hematoma? @mrsmccormick just looking for someone to relate to and talk to you because I can't find anyone that can relate to this issue
