Liam dropped 2 lbs since birth & we are now on day 2 of a grueling feeding schedule. I'm breastfeeding every 2 hours then supplementing with 1 ounce of formula with a dropper and pumping after every feeding. This mama is beyond exhausted 😩
The best news is He is back up 4 ounces in 1 day! So relieved that it's not something medical and I'm just having low milk supply. I'm doing everything I can to get my milk supply up. If anyone has any great tips please let me know. Daddy took this photo while we were napping.💕
Don't worry babies do lose some of their weight after they are born they are getting used to the outside world
okay, so my little guy is breast fed, but we try to give him a bottle of breast milk atleast once every three days. his doctor said 2 1/2 ounces for him is good, but i knew that was too little... i’ve been giving him about 5 1/2 ounces & he wants to eat again 30 minutes later. what gives??
breast feeding help!!
Hi ladies, well I had my baby two days ago but I still have no milk supply and I have to follow up with formula but we still have successful latches. Any tips on how to get my supply going I'm currently waiting for my.breast pump.
any advice on how to increase ur milk supply I'm getting discouraged cuz I'm not even producing a ounce and I've tried lactation smoothies and have seen no improvement
I'm trying so hard to bring my milk supply up but every time I look in the freezer I wanna cry and beat myself up
Has anyone tried milkmakers lactation cookies? I'm a breastfeeding mom and realized my milk supply is low because I pump my milk since baby boy has a hard time latching on even with a nipple shield.. I only pump an ounce every feeding and he drinks 3 ounces per feeding. Anyone know of lactation cookies or otc meds that help with milk supply?
I tried lactation cookies and they gave me a boost. Day to day just eat as much as you can hold and drink as much water as you can and that will help you the most. Once your supply is established, it gets to where you can have an off day when you don't eat lunch or miss a pump, and suffer no ill effects.
