How often do you mommies switch out cups for your toddlers? His cups just get a nasty milk smell that won't get out no matter how much soap, bleach, or boiling I do. If I find them after a long time of not finding them I just toss them because it's impossible to get the smell out.
Only time ill give my son a cup is if he is in his high chair as he does the samething
Mine only used straw cups for the longest time. My oldest got so mad if it didn't have a straw. Those ones I couldn't afford to replace all the time so I'd do something like @withlovedkj suggested, except I'd put a little baking soda in it, too.
You could also try the almond milk that comes off the shelf in little boxes. You don't have to refrigerate if, so it can go for longer in a sippy cup without smelling and give you time to find it 😂
@mommywifelifestyle it is. We're working on regular cups he's got the whole drinking thing down but runs around and drops it all over the floors. I have a 3 month old so I can't always chase him around seeing where he hides his cups.
@mommywifelifestyle he has a few I just threw away 3. He has two new ones and one old one I just bought. Hopefully these last a bit longer.
My son only has 2 so its easy keeping up with them in addition he refuses to drink milk so just has water in them
@mommywifelifestyle he's so good at hiding them sometimes I can't find them for a week or two them when I try to clean them the milk is literally cheese lol I have thrown away so many.
Ive only replaced one sippy cup but that was do to me forgetting it on top of car so it got ran over 😂😖
@rhealize yes! I find them in places I didn't even know he could reach or find. I don't have time to chase him around and collect them with a 3 month old. He likes straw cups so the spout ones won't work he can open the. Too.
@withlovedkj yes...Trust me he is a master at hiding them. I think it's the milk he drinks
@beebaby he is on lactose free milk and it leaves a very nasty smell in the cups. When he drank regular milk it wasn't a problem.
Have you tried to wash it with soap and vinegar? Vinegar is sure to get the smell out of anything. I've never had a buildup of milk in sippy cups either. Hope that helps! @guaderrama_babies2,
I usually find them in the breakfast or baking isles. Also if your store has a dedicated gluten free section you can try there.
Or just order them off amazon 😂
