I just do a small amount during every diaper change (every 3 hours or so). But normally with my daughter I only have to apply it once or twice and then it goes away. If she's drooling a lot (teething and stuff) you can always try to keep a bib on her to help it from getting under her neck! I did that until my daughter learned to take off her bibs lol.

Do you know what it's from? If it's from drool/chafing, then you can do desitin or whatever diaper rash cream you use. If it's a heat rash then once she cools off it should go away on its own. If it's something else (like an allergic reaction) I would speak to her pedi.
