Don't feel that way boo .. I'm in one now with my son and boyfriend . It's not that bad they're putting a lot of people in hotels .. tv wifi ac but might as well do it now and get it out the way .. he won't remember ❤️

@realprettilex Very true but the ones I've been referred to only allow a few weeks stay in just the shelters then most of the people end up in the streets 😕

@bri61217 I just need out of the Bronx, it's horrible here, there's always someone shooting outside plus the drugs everywhere on the block I live on. If my grandma wasn't as old as she is and the room I'm using wasn't so small I'd have somewhere to stay

Yeah im staying in my brother in laws house in such a small room none of the baby's stuff fits and i just need out and a place of my own .... it will be ok, you shouldnt be there long 😊

@bri61217 I'm hoping so, what sucks even more is that when I do go to the shelter my boyfriend's mom is going to want him to stay with her since he has a room at her place and even though he doesn't want to leave me alone, he's gonna be convinced to go stay with her anyway

@harleigh1223 when I had my son I tried staying at a shelter 2 x because my mom and I have never gotten along and my brothers and dysfunctional. I couldn't put my son through it for long. Instead I applied for public housing and eventually when he was 5 yo I got my own place.

@harleigh1223 be strong and push forward for your child through which ever avenue you can. My son has made me who I am today. I've been through some tough struggles even living in public housing in one of the worst nycha developments in Harlem. You'll always want the best for your kids. My son has given me the motivation to graduate from college and become idependent and successful. I hope everything work out for you. If you ever need any advice or information feel free to inbox me.
