A friend of mine that has been trying to get pregnant took a pregnancy test and it's clearly a faint positive. She td me it didn't pop up within the 3 minutes the test said it would and she left the house. Came back and it was a faint positive. She took another to make sure and she said it was negative. my question is what do you think it was? A false positive? Or more of a concentrated amount of her pee the first time or something and she should retest with the first morning pee?

@twinmomma2b, you get a positive test but very very faint then test again and get a negative it ends up in very early miscarriage where your hormones never end up rising Iv had one tested very faint positive then negative period was late 3 weeks and I started spotting and ended up getting my period

Could be too early to test and only picking up a very faint or no positive. It could also just be an evaporation line. The likelihood that a test would be a false positive is low it's more likely that it would be a false negative than a false positive but it happens so who knows. 🤷♀️ it's better for her to test again in a few days.
