Needing advice...17 and pregnant and I have no idea where to begin when buying things for the baby
I started around 19 weeks with my second and I didn't have everything ready when he was born at 37. I stared at 7 weeks with my first and I had everything done by 30 weeks. So it's really up to you!
& remember when you reply put at @ sign then their name so they can get the reply
Like this @glorifiedroyals,
We stocked up on the baby water it goes quick & wipes. Not so much diapers because they grow out of them fast.
For sure, I'm going to go to Sam's Club and get the bundle packs
Im also cloth diapering so I dont have diapers on my list, but definitely stock up on disposables.
I work in a daycare and wipe warmers are a luxury, but not a necessity. Babies dont really like cold wipes but you wipe wipe then you're done and its not like they hold grudges. If you want one feel free but if you're strapped for cash I would advise spending it on something you actually need.
Yeah, my mom is a ton of help. She's letting me and my boyfriend live with her until we get our own place
Also the actual crib/ mattress might be useful lmao not just the sheet for it.
@glorifiedroyals I started buying around 20 weeks or so. When I found out the gender. Personally I use bottled water for formula. But I started stocking wipes, bedding, soaps, lotion, different clothes, and some diapers. It really does depend with the diapers though, I was just really careful. My son wore newborn diapers for a week maybe. I just bought like 2 or three bags of each. Which I was gifted some, so It worked really well for me. Plus anything I didn't use I gave to a friend who was only three months behind me.
