I really want to get some blond in my hair, I've been dark for over 6 years lol but I don't want to…

I have really been into ombre, and I leave the top untouched and then fade into a blonde at the bottom, that way it doesn't grow out

@kmharr3, i think I want to consider something like ombré too.

I got a ombre done my hair on top is black and it turns into red and the middle to bottom@breeee

I just got this done to mine yesterday! I figured the upkeep would be easy cuz I can just do the roots myself at home when I want to (I have a decent amount of grey 😣) I say go for it

Just go in knowing that if you're dark and have been dying it dark or are naturally really dark that you won't be able to achieve a super blonde right away without literally melting your hair. I'm a hairdresser here in socal and so many girls come in with black hair and want a bleach blonde and it's not achieve able in one sitting .
