I really don't understand my doctors. I couldn't make a doctors appointment till I was 8weeks…

Also I've had one mate who is 8weeks already had her first midwife appointment and another lass has had her first scan 7 weeks. I just wanna put my mind at ease and be able to tell everyone the good news xx

I didn't get a midwife appointment until I was 18 weeks because that's when they started seeing people, but I had regular checks with the hospital so it wasn't too bad x

Its all changed now i hated waiting if you got a epu near you go there xx

I lied and told them I didn't know how far along I was so they would see me! It's the only way you can see them these days 😂

@jessyab, @west94, yeah I've just spoke to a friend and it's the same for her. Oh well there's me worrying about nothing lol xx

I saw my midwife at 6 weeks for my booking appointment and had my first scan at 8 weeks xx

@melodyandme, I genuinely didn't know with my last one and even then I didn't get my first scan till 14weeks. It's just weird when it's earlier for some and late for others xx

I really hated the wait was so paranoid i think its because if something goes wrong in the pregnancy ect it usually happens early on so they wait to see if we get through the first few scary weeks! Dont worry your not missing anything just ashame and nerve racking time waiting but the weeks will fly by and congractulations:) 💙❤💛 @tremzini

Didn't have a docs app until 11 weeks. Scan by 14 x

Saw doctor at 6 weeks, midwife at 8 weeks and scan at 12, already booked into see midwife again at 15 weeks too x

@tremzini my first scan was at 13 weeks because they wanted to make sure I was definitely 12 weeks pregnant. Though technically I had a scan at 7 weeks when I went to the family planning clinic expecting advice over the pregnancy (that's not what I got haha), but I didn't see the scan and all she said was how far along I was and that she could only see one. Probably would've only been a blob on a screen anyway :')

I wouldn't worry too much, plus it's hard to compare because a lot of clinics/hospitals/doctors do things differently x
