POTTY TRAINING QUESTION
So my uncle has 5 kids, a 13ish year old, an 9 year old, a 3 year old almost 4, and two eleven month olds. I'm babysitting them for a while and they are having a hard time potty training the 4 year old because he is jealous of the twins.
I've talked to him about it and he's gone to the potty for me a few times, and other times he throws a fit if I ask him to use the potty. he knows how hes just to lazy/wants to be the baby. They've tried the reward system and it hasn't worked.
Any tips or tricks??

We make being a big boy something fantastic and leads to more "grown up" things to do.
Big boys who use the potty get to...stir the brownie batter.
...feed the dog.
...pick the story time book.
Instead of rewarding with things we rewards with experiences. My son was HARD to potty train and the m&m rewards didn't do squat. Treating him like a big boy and giving him the option was what made potty training a breeze. Within a month we was fully potty trained even at night.
They tried giving him a car everytime he peed. He went all day in undies one day no problem. The next he's like I didn't want to get up
I am having the same trouble with my 3 year old he knows how to go but refuses so I am going to try this. And i never realized it could be jealousy of his sister it makes sense now i have been trying to figure out why he doesn't want to go when he knows how. Thank you both
You have tried an m&m if he goes potty? If that and sticker charts aren't working you can try a big potty dance/praise. Some kids just like to be celebrated and praised, so like if he goes potty in the big boy potty I'd break out in a dance and start clapping and cheering. Worked for my nephew

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
