Mom's!!
I need your help. Okay I admit a little dramatic, but my baby girl just got introduced into solids and I'm wondering how do you pro moms schedule your feeding with formula and the solid foods?
I like that too @noahs.mommy honestly I'll probably combine a bunch of ideas together and see which one works for my baby girl! Thanks
I feed my son his morning breakfast bottle then baby food for lunch and baby food for dinner. i offer a bottle after each meal but sometimes he doesn't take it. I do make sure to give him a "snack" bottle around 330, which is the perfect amount of time from after lunch and before dinner so he still eats.
Thanks for your responses @babynessa @mv92 ! So far my daughter has formula every 3 to 4 hours and for dinner I would have her try baby food (we decided to do all veggies first then fruit). Today is the first day she ate for a comfortable amount of time.
When I first introduced baby food. I would in the morning give her a little bit of baby food (half a jar) then offer a formula bottle after. If she drank it great if not I just put it in the fridge for later. The rest of the day I did formula. After two weeks of that I gave her baby food in the morning and for dinner (one jar for the entire day. She ate half a jar for breakfast and the other half for dinner). After a few week of that I then gave her baby food 3x a day ( one jar for breakfast, one jar for lunch, one jar for dinner) and gave her formula when she wanted. At 6 months my daughter was on table food. Feed her the same times just table food and instead of formula with her meals I gave her water. In between meals she had formula and also formula with her snacks. Also I introduced veggies first. If you introduce fruit first children are more likely not going to want veggies because they like the sweetness of the fruit more.
That's what I did!@kiki2017 i just tried different scheduling until i figured out what worked
