I had one unexpectedly and I definitely have some advice/tips/thoughts I can give you. Feel free to message me! Much easier than writing it all on here 😁

A tip I have is to have belly support for after C-Section a compression band or something.

@mommychina_, really? Isn't it super painful?
@mommychina_·
@avie, No it isn't! It helps to guide the abdominal muscles back together normally! It also can help lessen the "C-Section pudge"

@avie, I was so anxious and scared to have something done I've never had done before. Especially major surgery. But I can tell you, for me, the worst part was getting the IV. Lol for real. There are some weird parts to the process but when they bring your baby up to the screen.... you totally forget you had surgery. My recovery was great. I had no troubles at all.

YAY to @morganmommy79 for not hitting you with the doom and gloom!!! Planned c-sections are a lot different from emergency c-sections so it's hard to get proper feedback. I also was a planned and I am totally on board with what @morganmommy79 said. The worst is the spinal block. It sucks. Deep breaths. Everything else after that is totally tolerable. The surgery itself felt like I was getting a belly massage. And so I kept telling myself that's all it was. And even though it's like a 2-3 hour process it goes by SO FAST. If you can have dad in there with you, do it. The company and distraction is great. And afterwards you'll be tired and a bit sore but painkillers will help. Peeing is annoying but doesn't hurt. Pooping is annoying and uncomfortable but that's it. Walking is tough. Swollen feet get sore. But honestly I never went above 4/10 pain, and that was because my nurse forgot to bring me my Percocet. Home is harder but not impossible. You got this, momma!!! If you want to chat more about this, message me. I am never ashamed to talk about it.
