10 Questions Every Young Mom Is Sick of Answering
I had my first baby when I was 23.
I know, it’s not super young, but I had just finished college and most of my friends weren’t having kids. They were having career babies and dating and partying and doing other things young, unattached, early 20 year old people tend to do.
I’m not mad.
I loved being a young mom.
I was doing what I wanted to do with the person I wanted to do it with, and my friends were awesome.
They all wanted to be god mothers and aunties and come over with cute, sassy graphic tees for my kid.
Win!
It was older strangers who gave me lip about it.
I’ll admit, I looked waaaaay younger than 23 when I was 23. I have these big cheeks and I liked to wear my hair in two long pigtails and, okay, I looked 16. Read more: ссылка
I was pregnant when i was 15 and had my daughter at 16. I always get asked if im her older sister and anywhere i go the stares follow me. One girl at my school even had the nerve to tell me i was selfish and was ruining my daughers life
I had my daughter at 15 age!I I am 30 age now I am Mother of 6 kids! Age my kids are girls 14.11.4. Boys age is 13 10- 7 months baby
I was 24 and married when i had my son... i thought that was a good age i didnt consider myself a young mom lol...
I was 22 when I got pregnant was 23 when I had my daughter and now am 24 with a 6 month..I wouldn't change anything I had my daughter I chose to have a baby and love every minute of it. No one needs to tell me I'm doing everything wrong or try to parent my child I'm happy and love being her mother 💕
I was 20 when I got pregnant and 21 when I had my son.. People tell me I look 12 and when I'm out in public with my son people just stare at me like I guess they're wondering what a little girl is doing with a little kid. (He's my son!!! Stop staring!!!!). Tbh its annoying!
I had my first son at the age of 14 and he's now 3 now I'm 19weeks pregnant with my second son and Im only 18 IDC what people think this is my little family and I'm happy and I'm a proud momma of 2 boys (:
I'm 23 with a 6 month old and can't walk with out ppl staring, pointing or saying anything
Ughhh I get looks all the time a lot of people think I'm young they ask if I'm babysitting I'm like they look just like me wtf ? . And I take my son to mygym in Beverly Hills so theirs a lot of snotty rich people and their all older and they just always think I'm his nanny but when he calls me mom their shocked ! Especially because I'm the youngest and I'm Hispanic they even look at me like you can afford this place it's not that expensive and then they see my car it's just annoying honestly Iv had a lady while I was buying my son food tell me ur way to younge to have a baby I told her how old do you think I am she said 16 I told her I'm 26 she was soo shocked I had to show my I'd because she didn't believe me. I don't even see what the big deals is honestly all our grandparents well most had babies as young as 14 ! So why are we getting shit I had my first at 23 Iv been with my kids father for 10 years so our close family was so supper happy which made me happy which made everything so much easier I really couldn't imagine not having support! So to all you younge Mommy's your guys are amazing !!
I was 21 when I got pregnant with my son, I turned 22 a month or so after I found out. I'm 23 now. Once I started to show, old ladies would stare at me while at the store. I got dirty looks from time to time, but no one ever said anything rude to me. I'm 5"0' and I look very very young, 17 or 18 I'm my opinion. My son is 10 months old. When I do take him to the store people only ever comment on how beautiful he is, or ask how old he is. My parents love spending time with my son, so they babysit him alot. He only goes with me and his dad to the store once in a while.
I don't consider myself a young Mom just a Mom trying to do an awesome job. I'm sure a lot of people think I am a young Mom especially older family friends who have known me since I was young. I was 24 while pregnant and I'm 25 now. So is my husband. My Mom was 21 when she had me and my husband's parents were 18 when they had him. I think that it is all about maturity and some people are great parents whether they are young or not. Personally I didn't want to start a family at 30 like some of my friends plan on doing.
I was 17 but I had graduated and was married
I was pregnant at 17 and had my second at 26 and I still get all the questions of being a young parent I hate it
I'm 16 and have a nine mother old, he'll be 10 months this month! 🙃
I'm 19. I had my son when I was 16 and I got bullied in high school a lot. But damn it, I'd do it all over again because I never knew that this kind of love existed and it is absolutely wonderful.
This is my LIFE! Had my daughter at 21 and wanted to get involved in everything with my baby (Mom and Baby Yoga, Mommy and Me Classes, Parent Participation Gymnastics) and I would ALWAYS be the only "young mother" in the class. I got strange looks and they forever assumed I was a single mom 😂😂. It's a daily struggle we young moms go through.
I had my daughter two weeks after my 18th birthday and AMEN
I was married at 18 and popped out two before I turned 21. It was actually the opposite from the article for me. I lost all my friends my age and got all the support from older ladies. 🙄 but hey, the older ladies had more disposable income so I got a lot of freebies. No complaints here😂
I'm 23 and people think i'm 15. I have big cheeks as well. Excuse me i just turned 24. I was 22 when i got pregnant and 23 when i had him.
I had my first at 23, now my 2nd at 28 but turned 29 a few weeks after she was born. I don't look 29 so people are surprised that I have 2 kids. Most people think I look in my late teens and early 20s
People who say rude things to young moms like me make me absolutely livid! Especially people like my grandmother who says horrible things about me behind my back every time I get pregnant! 😡
I'm 23 but look 16 and have a 6 month old. In haven't gotten asked any of the questions yet but I do get the dirty look!
My mom had me at 19. She got some lip from strangers to, mostly thinking i was her sister. 3 yrs later she had my sister. Im 21 and having my first child at 21. To alot of people i still look 13, with my hair cut maybe 16. So im prepared for the lip from strangers about me and my baby.
I'm 19 with a 3 month old. I completely relate to these questions. I'm in a very committed relationship with my sons dad and we've been living together for awhile. He works and supports his family and I stay home and take care of our son. We also plan on having another baby in a little less than a year. I get judgment from everyone including my family. No problem with being a young mom.
Despite being 29, 28 when pregnant, I look much younger with my baby cheeks too. So I got a few of these questions as well. The looks on their faces when they found out how old I actually was. Still, doesn't make it any better. Would it had mattered if I was 28 or 20?
Had my first at 19 and my second about a month before a turn 21 ..
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?

I got pregnant at 15, had him at 16. Then got pregnant at 17 and had him that same year. Then again at 19. I just turned 20 in march and I graduated high school with my class in 2015. With both my children. I have been out on my own since I turned 18. Since leaving my moms I have my license, car and my own apartment. Getting married either later this year or early next year.. Not all young moms can't do it.. I did. And I had two underage.
