Anyone use the Minbie bottles?? Anyone find one similar to these bottles? I really want these bottles but am having a hard time paying over $10 for shipping alone :/ I want to breast feed but am worried I won't get to right away because my last daughter was tongue tied and if this one is too I want to use a bottle that won't confuse her too much before we get it corrected
@hanahmarie2183, she couldn't latch correctly which caused the lipstick effect with my nipples which then caused chunks to be taken out of my nipples and they would bleed and scab, very painful. It was absolutely horrible. I ended up getting it corrected at 8 weeks because it was so expensive and I had to stop bfing at two weeks because of the trauma to my nipples. I exclusively pumped but I'm so set on breast feeding this time that I'm hoping to get a bottle designed just like the breast so there is less nipple confusion if she is tongue tied as well..
I used avent with my first and her tongue was tied. But it never effected her breast feeding, she was born 6 weeks premature and breast fed within the first hour of delivery. We fixed her tongue tie at 2 months old. Did your doctor say it effected breast feeding?
oh wow! I'm sorry it didn't work for you, hope this time is better. I recommend avent bottles. I strictly breast fed my first 2 and would pump so my husband could feed them at night.
