Thinking about getting the nexplanon after I have the baby. Can anyone who has it tell me their experience with it. Does it put a lot of weight onnyou like the depo shot? Is it safe to breastfeed with it?

I used mirena and I loved it it's just as effective as the nexplanon. And I didn't have my period for 5 years.
I should have an answer copy and paste for this question cuz I always write the same thing but I had it. It sucked. After getting it. I had no period for about 3 months. Then I got it heavy by the 6th month of having it I ended up having my period for 3 months straight and it was clotty and heavy. After that I would get it twice a month. Also it intensified my depression.
@beebaby thanks yea I figured it wasn't such a great contraceptive to use.

Hated mine had it removed after 3 months I never stopped bleeding and I was sick like I was pregnant and bitchy all the time and I put back on all the weight I loss during pregnancy except for 20 lbs
@ashcos unfortunately they will not let me get the mirena because it causes ovarian cyst which I get every so often.
