In my religion it's recommended to wait 40 days/6 weeks just as it is for you to heal in 6 weeks. Funny how it all works out! He or she will have a 1 or 2 week appointment which is fine.

@amberzakiyyah, I waited until my 6w post pardon visit except for his dr appt I didn't take him to a public place like a store until 3m also dr doesn't recommend them out until after they have had 1st round of shots which I denied at birth. He is on delayed vac schedule. Also BF is great as @emileemoreland5, says honestly baby's know when they r out and sense their surroundings keep baby home n the rocker on boob they have their entire life to explore the world. We don't go out unless it's a dire need
