Shooting pain in Pelvic area, normal..?

Iv had contractions before but when I do I have like one a day, and they hurt so bad they bring me to my knees. Braxton hicks are nothing.. and that's why I'm so scared is they hurt SO bad, and that won't be the half of it. @beebaby,

I always get nervous and think it could be signs of labor. I'm paranoid about that.. @beebaby,

Do you know why it happens? Or just another weird symptom @beebaby,
