I have a REALLY weird question to ask. Sooo.... my 8 month old has been eating solids for about a month or two now. When he poops it smells SO bad like body odor. Yes you read that right my baby's poop smells like BO, and don't get me started on his gas. Considering I'm a first time mom is this normal considering he is new to solids? Here is a list of things he eats. Salmon, steamed broccoli, steamed carrots, green beans, peas, shredded chicken, cream corn, oatmeal, rice and gravy, no sugar added fruit cups, eggs and gravy or applesauce, yogurt bites, a minced up hot dog once, sensitive advanced formula, organic white cranberry juice (4oz) every other day with water added, mashed sweet potatoes plain, plain mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese rarely, mangos, peaches, blueberries, canalope, watermelon.
Wow, I hope he keeps up eating like that 😂 I wish I could get mine to eat half of that.
The only thing on that list I can think of that might cause the stink is the formula. That always had a tendency to make my babies stinky.
It's possible he's just allergic to something he eats, but usually that'd show in other ways, too.
It could also be that he's just a stinky boy 😂

“You look too young to be a mom!”
Or how about …
“You have a BABY? No! You look like a baby yourself!”👶
Oh wait, here’s a good one …
“Are you the nanny, ooor … ?”
“No, yeah I’m his mom,” I’d reply. “Yes, I am young,” I’d agree.
Considering I got pregnant straight out of college, I was certainly on the younger end of the parenting spectrum. (No one was more surprised than me, I assure you.) And yet, I wasn’t exactly a teen mom. I wasn’t juggling school courses and motherhood, like so many s...
I’m at my wits end. Baby cries all day long. I haven’t eaten in almost 24 hours, no sleep, etc. nothing works. I’ve tried warm bath, warming bottle before feeding, burping 3 or more times, massaging tummy, and leg bicycling. It’s only after he eats. I thought I was over feeding so I decreased his milk intake by an ounce. Still the same thing. He poops at least once a day so that’s not an issue. His doctor doesn’t have anything open until January. I don’t know what to do at this point. I’m beyon...
My son has to see a pediatric Gastroenterologist for his puking and pooping issues. My poor baby, I feel so bad for him especially with his pooping. I hope the appointment is sometime this year and I also hope the weather holds up as we will have to travel about an hour as there are none where I live. 😕 also he has a wheat allergy which he seems to be fine when eating wheat but she said maybe it could be affecting him in another way with his bowels or making him puke so have to minimize that fro...
I want to know if anyone added cereal or oatmeal to your baby's bottle. My little man gets lazy sometimes and doesn't want to eat his oatmeal so I give him his formula. He only drinks 6oz but that is not enough and he's hungry but won't drink more than 6oz per feeding so I was wondering if it is okay to put cereal/oatmeal in his bottle. What are your thoughts?

When you're pregnant, weird food cravings just comes with the territory. And they are unstoppable! You’ll drive miles to get that burger with those grilled onions🍔, or you'll have no shame in forcing your SO to go out for that midnight donut run.🍩

He has never smelled like that before he started eating solids and now I just want to puke every time I change him. Haha. It might be the broccoli. It does have a tendency to cause gas in adults.
