So I feel like we've developed some bad sleep habits and I'm wondering how you ladies put your babies bed! I have a 3 month old and we co sleep. We go to bed anywhere from 830-930. And we may down and I nurse her to sleep. And she's up a few times just to eat but doesn't really wake up since I'm laying right next to her. Then her naps are kind of sporadic and short. We don't really have a schedule? Is that normal? How much should she be sleeping? What are your bed time routines?
it's normal for your baby to want a schedule. having a schedule gives a calming environment. I've had my daughter on a schedule since a month old. I don't co-sleep, never have. my baby goes to bed after a day of playing along with two naps during the day. bed time is a bath, lotion and dressing, bottle, and cuddles. if she's still not tired I'll let her play with toys in her crib till she sleeps or read a book to her. sleeps 9pm-8am. she has a white noise machine to help her stay asleep as well.
That's what I originally thought, but I'm reading mamas whose 3 months old sleep on their own 7-7?! Or for 8-10 hour stretches! On their own! My baby only takes long naps if she's in my wrap and we sleep together too so I'm wondering if there's a point I should stop doing that?
At three months the baby is too young to put into a schedule, its normal!
So apparently me and my bestfriend really did get the same bedding set.. I thought they was different just in the same color and all.. But only one pattern is different. The bedding set I have is a present from my fiancé mom. And I tried my best to avoid getting the same bedding but some how it happen anyways. So my bestfriend is upset about it.
Upset with me too.. Pretty much just upset that she worked hard for her nursery.. My nursery was about owls.. But I didn't want cartoons as Luna's beddi...
Baby sleeping in their room?
How many of yalls babies are sleeping in their own room already? This is my baby's 3rd night alone in her room. She does GREAT! Sleeps better and longer in her crib. I wasn't planning on letting her sleep alone yet but my husband put her to sleep one night and put her in her room. We were both thinking she'll wake up soon and then I'll just put her in the bassinet in our room. Well, she never woke up until 7:30am ?. I was shocked! She would usually wake up twice at...
How often
Does your kid climb into your bed? My toddler use to sleep in her room all night and now she seriously runs into our room like 4 times a night. I feel like she wakes up and her first thought is let's climb into their bed! I have to wait for her to fall back asleep then carry her back into bed. Sometimes I just give up but she's getting big and I don't sleep well being pregnant and having a toddler kicking me.
omg... I'm so depressed my child cries more than she doesnt..The only time she's not crying is when she's alsleep.. but she only sleeps 30 minutes each time. she won't sit in her carseat, her crib, pack n play , her swing, bouncer nothing!!! I have to hold ger 24/7 even when she's sleeping or else she will wake up. I'm tired I don't get any sleep nothing soothes her I don't even remember the last time I had enough time to bathe :'( I love her so much but this is so challenging
Mommies I need advice....
So last night was night 15 of me sleep training my daughter from sleeping with me to now sleeping in her new crib. It has been EXHAUSTING! When she slept with me she would sleep straight throughout the night. Now she wakes up at the least, 5 times throughout the night. She has waken up at most 8/9 times at night. There have been times where I’m patting her for an 1 hour-2hours straight to get her back to sleep when she has waken up at one of those times🥵. So I have fel...
My son has been on a schedule since 2mos even though I bed shared. Same thing with naps. In the long run the structure made things run more smoothly. 6 mos or so I put him in his own room and after a week or so he was sleeping through most of the night.
