The sad part is even though they dont get along my mom still offered him to stay with us because he has to move out his moms house on 3 weeks and he said no he'll just sleep in his car.

When I got pregnant with my second, my kids dad and I were on a break and living separately. Honestly it wasn't a bad time in my life. Moving BACK in together was a mistake! My poor son tho, he's been thru all the back and forth. I think as long as kids have stability it doesn't really matter what the details are really. When the parents are happy (separate, together, whatever) that's what the kid feels.
