Anybody had to be given pitocin??

Epidural did not help me lol

@joan32393 i just got my epidural i was able to handle the pain only for so long i been here since 1am just now getting drugs and it kicked in so fast

They gave me that to induce labor. It hurt and I'm not gone sugar coat it. I literally had contractions every 5 minutes for the first few hours. Then every minute for the last couple hours because my body wasn't ready.

@melindaflowers929, I had it when I was induced and the epidural lol even though the epidural was scary I really couldn't have done it without it it really isn't bad at all and it helps so much. Good luck momma. You'll do great and whatever choice you make (epidural or not) it'll all be worth it when your precious one is here 😊

@ginac i pray im able to say the same my water broke around 6pm but in stages with no pain so i didnt know what it was so i stayed home all the way until 1am when it just rush out of me and i said i go to the hospital just to see what going on..sure enough they say my water broke and that they were keeping me. But given me pitocin because i never had any contractions.

@melindaflowers929 don't be nervous I was and when it was all over I said to myself damn there was nothing to be nervous about. Try and stay calm and enjoy this moment it's a beautiful process.

@melindaflowers929 it wasn't that bad for me actually. It was better then I'm sure the contractions cause I couldn't tolerate them anymore at that point. I had it at 4cm it slowed things down a bit and once my water broke that's when I got pitocin. I had such anxiety the whole labor process and the epidural actually helped me calm down. Looking back it wasn't bad at all even the. Pushing.

@melindaflowers929 I had epidural... But it wasn't bad. It just increased everything but then baby heart dropped a little so they stopped it then gave me again then hours later she was here. I. Didn't have any problems
