I'm going to be discharged tonight. I was hoping throughout my entire pregnancy that I'd have a normal pregnancy and a normal delivery and get to take my babies home with me when I leave but sadly I must leave without them. I packed their coming home outfits in advance. It's okay, they wouldn't have even fit into them and it's preemie sized. We'll be home together in a month. I must take it one day at a time.

Deep breaths and just let yourself cry on the way home... it is truly one of the hardest thing to do! Knowing they are in the best place they can be will give you a little comfort... but just focus on pumping, so you can be feeding your little ones even when you are not with them! Your emotions might be all over the place, but just allow them to flow... it is part of the process! Lots of love momma!! Get some extra snuggles from your girl at home! 😘
